Last week while shooting at Haystack Rock I lost track of my surroundings and got a lil wet. Awareness through a viewfinder isn’t enough sometimes.
Please take your time when hiking in dangerous areas. Today while on a short hike at Palouse Falls someone had an accident.
This blue gem is located in south-central Oregon. The incredible blue color comes from it’s nearly pure water absorbing every other wavelength of light. And although it may look like a meteor crater it’s actually a collapsed volcano called a caldera, that has since filled with precipitation. 💚Oregon!
