Do your part

Wildfire ruins are just devastating to witness. The beauty that can be found in a charred landscape is quickly lost when the realization hits you that so much life has been lost. Wildfires destroy amazingly beautiful and delicate ecosystems. That loss of life can be prevented if the proper steps are taken by US. Please do your best to prevent starting an unintentional fire EVERY DRY SEASON. For more information check out Smokey Bear’s site.

Take care.

An amazing location on a crystal clear afternoon…I love Oregon!ย ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š

Cabbage Hill Sunset

You can see forever as truck lights streak across the road.

This was shot on a clear evening from the westbound outlook on I-84. ย Here you can see parts of Deadman Pass, The Wildhorse Casino, Pendleton, the eastern edge of the Cascades, Mt. Adams, and Mt. Hood.

This stretch of road tests a truckers skill. Throughout the year you can regularly find the shell of a burnt up semi that overheated on the way down or a trucker that’s stuck in the road putting on chains for extra traction going up. But for the experienced driver, this isย a beautiful and highly enjoyableย stretch of highway to drive.
